Night Guards (Splints)
Splints and mouth guards are both appliances recommended by dentist to protect a patient’s teeth.
Splints – a mouth guard for teeth grinding – recommended for people that grind or clench their teeth at night. A splint protects the teeth from wear, fractures and even breakage. In many cases, somebody that grinds or clenches their teeth can have sore jaw joints and even headaches also called Bruxism. Splints can come in different designs depending on a person’s bite and preference.
Sports Mouth Guards
Sports mouth guards are recommended for people who participate in contact sports (AFL, Boxing, Hockey, Roller Derby, Rugby, League, Rugby Union, Soccer and Waterpolo) where accidents can easily occur and can damage one’s teeth.
Mouth guards can come in an array of colours and designs.
